About Us

Our Story and Purpose

Peace Leaders Care Center Corp was founded by Alida Cortes, who has dedicated over 15 years to community-based social work supporting individuals, families, and underserved populations. She is licensed as a real estate agent and a health insurance agent, and has solid experience in tax preparation, gained through her collaboration with specialized firms. Through her leadership in the Peace Leaders Foundation and other community initiatives, she has worked tirelessly to prevent and address mental health challenges and all forms of violence. Her compassionate efforts have contributed to stronger family bonds, improved interpersonal relationships, and the emotional well-being of both children and adults.

Recognizing that many personal and family struggles also affect work and academic environments, Alida expanded her mission by creating the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Student Assistance Program (SAP). These programs provide timely, culturally competent, and non-discriminatory support that promotes mental and emotional wellness.

To continue meeting the diverse needs of our community, we expanded our services through Peace Leaders Multiservices, offering reliable support in tax preparation, health insurance, real estate, and small business services.
